Which tempo do I need?
If you're practising a specific piece, use the tempo on the score or the recording — and if you don't know the recording's tempo, tap it out with the tap tempo tool. If you're building speed, start 20–30 BPM under your target and work up in steps — you can chain those steps into one track on the metronome with tempo changes page. And if you need a meter other than 4/4, start from a time signature instead.
Every tempo page runs on the same free click track generator — the preset just saves you a step. Change the meter, subdivision, or length and download whatever you build. Producers dialing in effects can skip straight to the BPM to milliseconds chart.
